Page Scrantom shareholder Alan Rothschild presented on the use of private foundations in the estate planning context at the 51st Annual Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning in Orlando, Florida held January 9-13, 2017. With over 3,000 attendees, The Heckerling conference is the largest gathering of estate planning professionals in the nation.

The 20 member Dragon Boat team of the USS Page Scrantom participated in the fourth annual Dragon Boat Races on Saturday, May 7, 2016 as part of the festivities of Uptown Columbus RiverFest 2016. The competition included many local corporate businesses, community groups and teams of friends and family racing against each other.

Cecil Cheves, Of Counsel Attorney for the Firm, was recently inducted into the Chattahoochee Valley Sports Hall of Fame. He was recognized for his endurance sports, which included competing in Ironman Triathlons and the prestigious Boston Marathon for the last time in 2010. Cecil is also a key organizer and supporter for many local events, including the Soldier Marathon, which attracted close to 2,000 participants this past November.
