Ms. Stevenson concentrates her practice in the areas of labor and employment litigation and general civil litigation, including product liability. She defends employers of all sizes against charges and claims of discrimination and retaliation brought under federal and/or state law, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. §1981, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, Uniform Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and any state statutory or common laws.

Ms. Stevenson guides employers through challenging employment decisions and counsels her clients through all aspects of the employment relationship including the application process, hiring and firing, wage and hour issues, time away from work, investigations, background checks, misconduct, disability accommodations, unemployment, and any other issues that arise. She assists employers with preparation of employee handbooks and policies, and advises as to the implementation and enforcement of those policies.

Ms. Stevenson routinely leads seminars concerning employee policies and procedures, including reporting requirements and encouraging and avoiding claims of unlawful discrimination and retaliation.

After graduating from the University of Southern California Law School, Ms. Stevenson began her law practice in Los Angeles, California. She moved to El Paso, Texas, then to Columbus, Georgia, with her husband because of his military service. They have two small children.
